Work, Watch, Wonder

There is only one good thing about cold Minnesota days (-15 today).  What could that possibly be?  With a day off from my 9-5, I am still wearing pajama's at 11:05 a.m., drinking a cup of hot tea and getting ready to color all day.

The drawing above is finally ready for color.  I will do a few color studies before I start (really more like 20).  I plan on digital color, but I might change my mind.  This piece is called Boy Wonder.

If I have time later I might work on a valentine for my local critique group, finish watching a tutorial on Lynda.com about Photoshop, watch a video for Mark Mitchell's color class, send a critique request out to my online critique group, work on my #PBDummy challenge book or type a few chapters on my YA.

I might even sit on the sofa and look out the window to watch and wonder.

Sounds like a perfect day to me!

a big problem with working from home is that you don't get snow days. Sigh.
